The 1972 World Cup Final, nicknamed the 'Greatest game of all time' by some, was a final held between Lyonheimer and Blechingia at Otthoni Park in Judapest. The reason the final is so well known is due to it's dramatic circumstance and scoreline. First of all, the final was held in Judapest, with a lot of passionate Lyonheimerish fans and supporters, as well as Blechingian. This atmosphere gave the players fear on top of the pressure already for being in the final of a World Cup. It is also such a great game due to the Lyonheimer-Blechingia rivalry due to political, historical and geological reasons.

All of this tension had the game in big eyes already, and once the game started Lyonheimer were favourites. They proved this by Gyorgi Sarosi who scored in the 9th minute to give Lyonheimer the early lead. However, the nations joy was short lasted as Blechingia score but three minutes later. They also scored in the 23rd minute to make it 2-1 at half time.

The second half was even more eventful, with Blechingia scoring in the 46',53',71'and 78'. This lead in the Blechingians taking home the victory, against all odds.
