The Syranik language (Dazhdin Latin: Syrančina/Syrančinsky język; Dazhdin Cyrillic: Сыранчіна/Сыранчінскы ѩзык; Syranik: Sirančina) is a either a seperate language or a dialect of Dazhdin, that is spoken in in Dazhdinia. It is mutually intelligible with Posąvrag language.

Differences to litarary Dazhdin

There are notable differences to the litarary Dazhdin in orthography, syntax, phonology and grammar:

Disappearance of yers

Disappearance of yers, changing the iotation and syllabic structure (-lь- → -ľ-; -tь- → -ŧ-...)

Rearrangement of I, İ and Y

Syranik has preserved only 2 I sounds, which are denoted as:

The sound /ɨ/ disappeared and merged with the new letter "Y" (/ɪ/).

Changes in cases

Lack of presence of the adessive, allative and illative cases

Hard and soft R

Distingtion of soft and hard R (R for /r/, Ŕ for /ɹ/)
