Early life

She was born in 1981 in London, her family supported Labour and were well-respected in the local community. Her mother was a teaching assistant and her father was a teacher. She did very well in school, especially in History.

RAF career

She joined the RAF in 1999 as an enlisted air crew member, she trained as a pilot and was commissioned from the ranks in 2003. During her service as a pilot in the Royal Air Force she met Alexander Khan, an RAF Regiment officer.

Political views

She supports the Labour Party like her parents and her husband. She is pro-military but wants war to be avoided if possible. She is an outspoken supporter of Black Lives Matter activism in America and is also anti-abortion except in cases of rape or where the mother's life is under threat.
