Gallambria operates a single class of diesel-electic submarines, the twelve [[Trebuchet-class submarine|''Trebuchet''-class]] boats which began entering service in 1988. The Royal Gallambrian Navy operate two ''King Albert''-class aircraft carriers. As part of the 2012 Defence White Paper, the Gallambrian Government identified short-comings within it's maritime warfare doctrine. As a result, the government sought tender for the design and construction of two aircraft carriers, capable of accommodating upto 40 aircraft and 12 helicopters. Mainwaring-Trent Shipyards was the awarded the contract in 2013 with construction of the first ship starting in 2014. | |||

Trebuchet class
Gallambria operates a single class of diesel-electic submarines, the twelve Trebuchet-class boats which began entering service in 1988. The Trebuchet was designed and built by the Gallambrian Submarine Corporation (GSC), specifically to meet Gallambrian requirements, many of which were derived from Gallambria's need for great range without utilising a nuclear propulsion system.
