The Kitchener Cup is an annual men's rugby union competition contested by Nuvania and Satavia since 1907, making it one of the world's oldest continuing rugby competitions. Three tests are played every year, one in Port Hope, one in Pietersburg and one in a neutral venue. The event is named for Governor-General of Satavia General Sir Charles Kitchener, who proposed an annual test-series against Nuvania, and was it's main patron for nearly forty years, until his death in 1951.
There have been two seperate interruptions to the cup; 1927-1938 and later from 1974-1976.
