The T-32 Spéirling (English: hurricane) is a fourth-generation light single-engine multirole fighter aircraft manufactured by the Ossorian aerospace defense company Tionscail Ríoga Aeraspáis (TRA). The Spéirling uses a canard and delta wing configuration as well as a relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire technology for increased maneuverability. It is designed to make use of CSN-standard weapons and perform a wide array of missions, including air supremacy, interdiction, aerial reconnaissance, ground support, and anti-ship strike.
Design and development
Operational service
Royal Ossorian Air Force T-32s fought in the 2018 Arzell Crisis, successfully shooting down several ISAF aircraft for minimal losses.
Variants
- T-32A: initial production version that entered service with the Royal Ossorian Air Force in 1995
- T-32B: two-seat version of the T-32A, with an extended fuselage and the internal cannon removed to make room for the second crewman
- T-32C: upgraded version with improved armament and electronics
- T-32D: two-seat version of the T-32C with similar modifications as the T-32B
- T-32E: upgraded version with a more powerful engine, ASEA radar, expanded payload capacity, and various other improvements
- T-32F: two-seat version of the T-32E with similar modifications as the T-32D
- EF-168: variant built by Aestrup SLS for the Acrean Air Force
