Shizuma Izumi (25 March 1976) is a New Akibander officer currently serving in the New Akiba Army as part of Task Force 141. He also serves as the Colonel of the Auxiliary Territorial Service Corps. Izumi is one of New Akiba's most successful officers, commanding the 8th New Akiba Division well into the Imperial Crisis. His credibility was tarnished after the failure of the Battle of Ruscalov, which he was the overall planner but confidence in him was restored following the Battle of Ridge 55.

This token force was commanded by Colonel John Arnold Todd. At that time, Izumi served as Easy Company's marksman and was known for carrying a Lena Elfield No.1 Mk.
