Marzstra (officially The Marzstran Republic) is an island country located on the meeting point between the Astariax, Northern and Elstemv tectonic plates and in the middle of the Paisi Ocean. It covers an area of 1,372 km2 (530 sq mi) with a hilly landscape and temperate oceanic climate. The capital and largest city is Metloss, with a population of about 245 thousand inhabitants.

Etymology

The name for Marzstra likely comes from the name of the native Finno-Urgic tribe, which already inhabited the island when the Riamese came, however there is no clear origin, and this is only a speculation.

Language

Marzstra uses Common and Marzstran as it’s official languages. Both of these are widely spoken, however Marzstran is more used in casual day to day conversations, whilst Common is mostly used by the government.
