At 63,998,634 square kilometres (24,710,011 square miles) or one-third of Earth's total inhabitable land area, it is the largest country in the world. The country is bound to the north by the Boreal Sea, to the south by the Sea of Obrisia, to the west by the Maulland Sea and to the east by the Kippon Sea. It borders Draconia and Ostenia to the west, Sylvania and Obristan to the southwest, Varkania to the south and Seria to the east, while sharing maritime borders with the North Sea Realm in the west and Kippon in the far east. Through its overseas holdings, Angvar borders the Ankin-Fúbù Union, Liuzhi and Jianqíng, the latter by way of the International Legation Zones in Seria; Baqet, Ngubu, Lozi-Kikuvu, Vulu, and the Haziri Kingdom in Mauria; Pregonia and Zancora in Middle Brenonnia; and New Tilgard, Dunfork, and Grame in Upper Brenonnia. In addition to its 69 governorates, 36 overseas dependencies, 7 incorporated territories and one capital district, there are two associated states, Infernia and Lower Totenheim. The westernmost and easternmost governorates of mainland Angvar are Weißeheldensburg and Vladivoyna, respectively; whereas the overall northernmost point is Kaiser-Friedrich-Stadt and the southernmost being Los Island in the Australian Ocean. With a population of 1,003,366,201, it is the second-most populous country in the world. Its capital and largest city, Mordegard, is approximately 1,065 kilometres (661.8 miles) inland area, harboring a growing population of 442.5 million; the majority of which reside in the Greater Mordegard Area.
