The country's official and most commonly spoken languages are {{wpl|Berber languages|Sabawi}} and {{wpl|English language|Estmerish}}. Sabaw is considered a {{wpl|Regional power|regional power}} in north Coius, it has the largest economy in Bahia in terms of nominal GDP as well as GDP per capita, Sabaw also has the highest {{wpl|Human Development Index}} in Bahia and has seen consistent moderate economic growth since 2004.
