Nadzieja Brzezicki (born November 12th, 1984) is currently the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the United Kingdom of Malgrave.

Early life and career

Nadzieja Brzezicki was born in Pakosc on the 12th of November, 1984 to Bianka Brzezicki, a professor at Royal Pakosc University and Anatol Brzezicki, a financial administrator for MalTec. In her early childhood, Nadzieja attended Gabriella Pesaro Primary School and then Pakosc Eastern Central High School, during this time Nadzieja was heavily involved in both the Gabriel Narutowicz Pioneers and the Free Democratic Youth (Malgrave) and alongside Katia De Campo, Claudia Donovan and Aurelia Wyrzykowski is considered to be a member of what is now commonly referred to as the FDY-ASG Cohort

In 2000 Nadzieja left Pakosc Eastern Central High School and joined Pakosc Central College starting a course of Mathematics, Ancestorism, Common and Economics, during this time period Nadzieja first became involved in politics as she joined the student council committee and became a member of the central committee for the local students union. In 2003 Nadzieja completed her course at Pakosc Central College and joined Royal Pakosc University starting a course of Economics and Social Solidarity, as in college Nadzieja once again became involved in politics and was successfully elected to senior positions at the Universities Student Council and the National Union of Students.

After completing her degree in 2007 Nadzieja joined the Progressive Daily, the official publication of the Progressive Unity Party and started writing about economics and general welfare policies for the party, advocating for a general increase in the minimum wage and an increase in child benefit payments.

In 2009 Nadzieja was convinced to run for the PUP in the upcoming 2009 Malgravean Emergency General Election and was duly elected as the candidate for Pakosc-Tomsk Central.

Minister of Social Solidarity

After winning the 2009 Malgravean Emergency General Election Prime Minister Rachel Berry announced that Nadzieja Brzezicki was set to become the new Minister of Social Solidarity. As Nadzieja was known to the public for writing pieces for the Progressive Daily and the Royal Malgravean Times on economic and welfare policies her appointment to the cabinet was one of the lesser controversial appointments of the day.

Since 2009 Minister Brezezicki has pushed forward a general increase in the size of child benefits, pushed successfully for an increase in the minimum wage, increased disability payments and worked with Catherine Lowwe and Stanisław Lem to ensure the steady employment of teaching assistants and nursing staff.

Minister of Finance

On the 16th of October Nadzieja Brzezicki was appointed Minister of Finance to replace Ernst Hofner. Nadzieja has expressed support for her predecessors accomplishments in office but has shown a willingness to push forward the policy changes of the left-wing faction of the Progressive Unity Party

Prime Minister

Nadzieja Brzezicki was appointed Prime Minister on the 1st of April 2018 following the resignation of her predecessor amidst the continuing pressure of the Great Humiliation. Nadzieja maintained a majority of her predecessors cabinet appointments, however, Eliot Reymont was quickly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Seo Yi-kyung was promoted to the newly established position of Director General for Mystria.

Nadzieja's appointment to Prime Minister signified a change in direction, as her style of governance has been described by the Royal Malgravean Times as more academically-tuned and modernist compared to her predecessors, with the Ministry of Cultural Sensitivity and the Ministry of Anti-Communism and Anti-Fascism being abolished early during her tenure.

At the end of 2020 Nadzieja also made the decision to reform the Special Investigative Service and transform it into an umbrella organisation by reforming the Political Protection Service, Internal Security Division and International Operations Committee in a process that has been called a sign of the new political ideology of the country, Brzezickism.

Prime Minister Brzezicki's tenure has also seen the tightening of relations between Malgrave and members of the Dragon Sea Alliance, with key economic connections being developed between Malgravean companies like MalTra, MalTec and MalPha and artists from institutions like Ascension Productions to nations within and outside the Mystrian region.

Family and romance

Nadzieja Brzezicki keeps in regular contact with her parents, with Bianka Brzezicki holding an advisory position with the Progressive Unity Party and the current government. It's been reported that Nadzieja has been in relationships with both men and women but her current relationship status at this point is not known.

It was confirmed that Nadzieja Brzezicki has a daughter called Alea, with the child venturing with the Prime Minister during the Mystrian Prosperity Conference, however, beyond that no further information has been revealed about her family.
