Neassa Bennett is a Aisling actress. She is considered one of Temuair's premier scream queens and is best known for her role as Ailís in the Revelations Series, a four part movie series. The final movie of the series, Reconciliations, will be released in November of 2020.
Early life
Neassa Bennett was born on January 16, 1995 in Coalla, located in southern Temuair outside of Dinsmar. Her parents were killed in a car accident when she was 7. She had no surviving relatives and was declared a ward of the state. She was placed in the state run Alcala Girls School from age 8 until she was adopted at age 16 by Ángel and Amalia Bennett. During her time at the Alcala Girls School, Neassa was described as an extremely introverted and shy child, who did not often interact with the other children. In a 2010 interview with StarLine, Neassa reflects that her solitary upbringing might be the reason why she was attracted to work as a horror movie actress. "I was very much in myself as a child, but I had a very vivid imagination. The Alcala School was very old, and frankly very creepy. I can remember wandering the halls and basements alone at night, and being very creeped out...but also enjoying it. I think I'm drawn to being scared...and I think that's why I'm so good at being creepy."
After she was adopted by the Bennett family, her name was legally changed from Heelan to Bennett.
Career
Benitez received her first acting role at 17, portraying high school senor Nina Benson alongside Irena Turley in the 2012 production Study Hell.
She is best known for her role as malevolent spirit Ailís in the horror movie series Reconciliations
Neassa Bennett starred in her first full length movie outside of the horror genre when she was cast as Ailís in the 2022 comedy drama Girls Just Want To Have Fun. The movie tells the story of four high school students who are bullied by their peers for their enjoyment of electronic dance music. The girls decide to persuade EDM artist Adelaide, who is portrayed by herself in the film, to preform at their senior year prom, having only two weeks to travel to Fife to meet the star and convince her to help them. Also staring Kinley Quinn, Julie Miskell, and adult entertainer Ciara Canton in her first mainstream role, the movie received mixed reviews from audiences, and was a marginal success.
Personal life
Neassa currently resides outside of Abel, in northern Temuair.
