Succession is governed by the Constitution of Gelonia , which established the Monarchy of Gelonia utilizing the male-preference cognatic primogeniture succession laws of the House of Rouanti. The Constitution restricts succession to legitimate descendants of Arthur Rouanti (Arthur X in pretence) that are members of the Church of Gelonia.

King Arthur XI is the sovereign, and his heir presumptive is Lena, Princess Royal.
