The Vermish Hockey League (VHL; Vermish: Värmska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Vermish ice hockey system. The league comprises 12 teams from all around Vermrike with relegation and promotion between the Hockeyvärman. The league was founded in 1981, and while Vermish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1930, the winning team of the VHL playoffs is named Vermish Champions and awarded the Realm's Ice Trophy. There is only one award that is awarded to players based on their statistics during the regular season; the Golden Puck for the goal-scoring leader.
