Different sources disagree over whether [[Kristiønssen II]] was king from 695 until 697, between his brother Edmund III and his cousin Erik of Wesear. The ''[[Searo-Heldo Chronicle of Kings]]'' lists him as having been declared as king of all Searenland, but ''[[The Sears & their History]]'' suggests that Kristiønssen was declared king in Susear and Erik in Wesear, thus making both of their reigns illigitemate during those two years.
