Due to the fact he was born into a billionaire business dynasty, he was educated at Rugby School in England before going to Oxford University to study Middle-Eastern history.

He joined the Royal Sharifistani Army in 1986, serving in the Royal Pashtunistan City Infantry and leaving in 2016. He served in Baluchistan (part of Pakistan), Pakistani Kashmir, Iraq and Syria, winning the Distinguished Gallantry Medal for his actions in Baluchistan. He later re-joined the Army during the occupation of Sharifistan as the Amir Al-'Ard/Field Marshal responsible for leading the Army in resisting the occupation. In May 2021 he was appointed Chief of Military Staff by Sultan Ed Ashleigh.
