Biography
Early Life
Born to Torri Jomsburg, a dentist, and Alise Marca, a teacher, Avery had a quiet upbringing. At the age of 18, she entered officer training with the Arkengarth Academy, and despite passing with solid marks and a specialisation in psychological warfare, she was not accepted into the Confederate Brytisc Fleet due to a lack of openings.
Mercenary career
Her training gained her a position with SpearCorp Solutions, a Brytisc private military contractor. She distinguished herself as a strategist and desk officer, and so it was some surprise when she was selected to join the advisory staff of Operation Upsetti, a total-deniability mission launched by R-DARK to destroy a Germanian concentration camp. The mission was a success, and she was offered a position by Major Glenn of R-DARK.
R-DARK
Enrolling in the gruelling R-DARK training course, she managed to pass, although her physical scores were a little lacking. She was quickly assigned to join the desk staff of Operation Solo Endeavour, an attempt to recover decommissioned nuclear weapons stolen by the Sokolian Liberation front. The mission was an eventual success, with the missile assemblies destroyed and the warheads seized by Da'klawedi government agents.
However, during extraction, the VTOL carrying several agents was shot down by RPG fire. Avery volunteered to participate in the rescue effort, and at great personal risk recovered the body of Major Glenn who had been killed in action. For her efforts, she was promoted to active-duty service and assigned additional combat training.
Personal life
Little is known about Jomsburgs' personal life. She is known to be a member of The Lykoi.
