The Aviation Safety Board, or ASB, is a federal investigative agency assigned to aviation accidents or plane crashes. The agency is currently based in the capital city of Viras, within the Terrier Executive Building.

The current Director is Frank Blanchet, who was approved by the National Assembly on 8 February 2013.

History

The accident of Air Fratanica Flight 76 on 10 July 1976 highlighted the inefficiencies and weaknesses in investigative efforts surrounding airplane accidents.
