Succession to the West Phoenicia throne is determined by descent, legitimacy, and religion.

Traditionally, succession follows to the Monarch's children, children's line or for a childless Monarch to their nearest collateral line.

The Succession Act 1616 details the eligibility to the West Phoenician throne. The Succession Act 1616 ensured the line of succession would follow an absolute primogeniture ascension, allowing both genders the right to succeed to the throne.

In 1900, under the reign of King Tiberius Bush II, the National government amended The Succession Act 1616 with the King's support. The new amendment excluded succession for any royal member who was a foreign Sovereign or those in line who marred a reigning foreign Sovereign.

In 1971, reigning monarch Queen Juno Bush introduced an amendment to The Succession Act 1616. The amendment which was approved by the National government, allows for the disqualification of royal members from the line of Succession if they are not members of either the True Path Faith or the United Pagan faith religions.

The Succession Act 1616 was further amended by Queen Jezebel Bush-Van Diemen in 2005. The Queen who assumed control of the National government via a power grab, corruption and election rigging, issued the government to pass an additional amendments as well as grant her additional powers as monarch. The amendment which passed both the House of Representatives and the Senate with an overwhelming majority; excludes those in the line of Succession who marry without the Sovereign's consent up to the 30th person in line.

In 2007 with intelligence agencies reporting to Queen Jezebel Bush-Van Diemen that The Kingdom of Gryphon under the reign of Emperor Thaddeus Gryphon, her step-father; was planning to attack West Phoenicia, remove her from the throne and install his son Glenton Gryphon-Bush II who was the legitimate heir according to the last will and testament of Queen Juno.

Queen Jezebel introduced to government, an amendment to The Succession Act 1616. The amendment would disqualify any member of the royal family from the line of succession, if found to be engaging in high treason, seditious behaviour or planning to commit regicide.

In addition to being removed from the Succession list, the penalty if found guilty is execution by beheading or hanging.

Emperor Glenton Gryphon-Bush II is the current ruler, his children from his first wife will inherit after he either abdicates or does. Children from his other two wives will follow suit in the line of Succession.

If the Emperors direct line is exhausted, the line will revert back to his older siblings and their children.

if the Emperor's siblings and their children become exhausted the succession line than moves onto the descendant of Emperor Glenton's maternal aunt Princess Ynocencia Bush, Grand Duchess of West Phoenicia (1929-2016)

The line then passes to the siblings of Emperor Glenton's maternal grandfather, King Jarius Bush II who are still living and their descendants.

The throne would ultimately pass onto the Emperor's, fathers siblings and their descendants as a way to keep the same bloodline on the throne if the current line is declared exhausted.
