In 2069 in the Battle of Actium, Admiral Lictenburg tasked Praas and Varenhorst to relieve the Imperial Forces fighting against the Vrakyan Space Force. After the battle, the Empress promoted her {{wpl|Vice Admiral}}.

She attended the Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine from 1999 to 2003, graduating at the top of her class and with distinction she was commissioned with the rank of Sub-lieutenant within the Fleet Air Force as a J-54 Wildekat pilot, until becoming a J/A-29 Merlet pilot.
