The Spálgleann Metro (Caldish: Meitreo Spálgleann ) is a rapid transit system in Spálgleann, Caldia. It is the world's northernmost metro system. The Spálgleann Metro's first line opened in 1943. Initially, the metro system was operated by the publicly-owned Spálgleann City Transit. Operations were transferred to the national CIG in 2001.
