Located in central Aucuria, Chanchamaya borders the states of Sidabria, Šventoji Elžbieta, Bendrieji Laukai, Oroncota, Pakrashchia, Chucisaca, Kestutia, and Magdaliete; as a result, it is the Aucurian state with the most neighboring states.
