The 1949 Tofino Summit was a summit meeting between East Besmenian Prime Minister Albrecht Nebeling and West Besmenian Chancellor Karl Ochsenbein.
The summit took place on March 1, 1949 in Tofino. The summit is considered a highlight of the East Besmenia-West Besmenia relationship. It was the first time that leaders from both countries met together. Also present at the summit was the President of Zamastan Marvin Gaviria.
The Ochsenbein-Nebeling Treaty was signed at the summit. The pact guaranteed nonviolent and unarmed peace and diplomatic relations between the two nations.
