The Ouranodistrision Mountains or Ouranodistrision Range is a mountain range in northern Europa. The name comes from the Laimiaic name for the mountains, Ouranodistrision, meaning "sky-piercers". The range has some of the Occident's tallest peaks, with the highest peak, Mount Katofles, having a height of 7,879m. The range itself has 50 mountains that measure over 5,000 metres. The mountain range acts as a source of scientific interest, as well as a draw for tourism from across Tagmatium and the rest of the Occident.
The mountain range is located in northern Tagmatium and is one of several mountain ranges in the northern Occident. The rain shadow of the mountains forms the Cold Desert, otherwise known as the Desert of Trapezon. One of the Occident's major rivers, the Iaehos River, rises in the west of the range, eventually flowing into the Central Sea.
