The Jūkata due to their adaptions and evolution retain many vestigial traits within their bodies which through the use of [[Blood magic|blood magic]] they can bring out and attain what is referred to as their sacred form. Within their sacred form they are much taller and larger in general and posses bodyparts which they lacked before, and are much stronger. In Jūkata culture this form is of immense cultural significance and many important rituals require the participant to attain it for the duration of the ritual. However, this form can only be maintained for a limited amount of time as the body will eventually start to slowly consume itself from overheating and lack of nutrition. Maintaining the form through this has been known to cause major psychological and physical damage to the person. | |||

Jūkata (Magian:十方, Mahō Ryōiki:Jūkata) are a sentient humanoid species in Sparkalia that exhibits many diverse physical animalistic characteristics partially based on ancestry and almost exclusively lives within the borders of Kaidokoku which is also the only majority Jūkata country.
Etymology
Jūkata in Magian means either "the ten directions" or "the ten peoples", the name comes from a legend that when the Jūkata were created they split into ten tribes and spread out over the land in ten directions one for every tribe: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West, West, North west, Up and Down. And as they lived apart they slowly changed to adapt to the environment becoming the ten ethnicities/subspecies.
Ethnicities
Jūkata are divided into 6 clades, these clades being: Amphibian, Aquatic, Avian, Insectoid, Mammalian and Reptilian. These are even further broken up into ten different ethnicities or subspecies based on physical characteristics such as height, strength and number of limbs. The ten groups are: Arikata, Gakata, Gyokata, Hadakkata, Hedorokata, Kamakata, Kumokata, Ryūkata, Torikata and Usikata.
Arikata
Arikata are a Jūkata ethnicity who's phenotypical traits exhibit an ant-like appearance and biology. Arikata also happen to posses the only form of eusociality in all of the Jūkata due to their enhanced manasense which they can use to sense the thoughts of other Arikata nearby in an aproximately 10 meter radius. However, unlike most eusocial intelligent species the Arikata also possess the ability for independent thought and personal thoughts which cannot be mind-read.
Gakata
Gakata are a Jūkata ethnicity that exhibits moth-like physiology and the ability to fly for short periods of time, they are also largely nocturnal.
Gyokata
Gyokata are a Jūkata ethnicity that exhibits fish-like physiology and have fish like tails and gills. While Gyokata are able to breath on land they prefer spending most of their time in water due to almost constantly feeling out of breath as they need to breath twice as often beacause of their weak lungs.

Hadakkata are a Jūkata ethnicity that looks the most like a human with the only thing thing giving them away is their horns and calcified limbs. They also have ability unique to them which allows them to foretell and do divination to reveal hidden truths and know what will happen in the future by feeling the movement of the mana of the environment and living creatures.

The Jūkata exhibit mimicry however, unlike all plants and animals it serves no real purpose for them and instead stems from their method of reproduction.
Reproduction
When demon glass is filled with blood and remains in a pool of mana for some time a body will start forming around it. When the proccess finishes a body the size of a human 15/16-year-old will emerge from the pool, though the body resembles that of a teen the mental age is similar to a 12-year-old's. Depending on the blood that was used the body will belong to one of the ten Jūkata subspecies and in the case that the blood is either impure or belongs to a species which isn't related to one of ten tribes a body will not be formed.
Sacred form
The Jūkata due to their adaptions and evolution retain many vestigial traits within their bodies which through the use of blood magic they can bring out and attain what is referred to as their sacred form. Within their sacred form they are much taller and larger in general and posses bodyparts which they lacked before, and are much stronger.
