Gylian Radio (French: Radio Gylias), abbreviated GR (RG), is the public radio broadcaster of Gylias. It is part of the Gylian National Broadcasting Service.
History
Gylian Radio was founded in 1958, as the radio division of the Gylian National Broadcasting Service.
Between 1958 and 1991, it had a monopoly on radio broadcasting at the federal level.
It expanded with the creation of additional radio stations in the 1960s–1970s, leading to the current total of 4 stations.
It played a role in the growth of the internet in Gylias during the 1990s, and was a pioneer in using the publinet to archive and stream its programming online.

It is a public organisation, part of the GNBS. It is organised by workers' self-management, and managed by the Management Board.
It has 20 regional divisions.

It is a cultural and educational channel. Programming includes radio theatre, documentaries, discussion programmes, other artistic and educational programmes, and music, focused on traditional and art music.
The creation of GR3 was largely the result of Groovy Gylias, allowing GR2 to specialise in contemporary and youth-oriented programming while GR3 could cover other cultural programming.
