Early life

Makomborero Ngonidzashe was born on 3 September, 2018 to Tavonga Ngonidzashe and Jagruti Ngonidzashe, at 08:43 at the Royal Izibongo Hospital in Guta raMambo. He was followed by his twin brother, Munyaradzi Ngonidzashe at 09:06. With his birth, he displaced Taremekedzwa Ngonidzashe in the line of succession, who if his father had become Mambo prior to Makomborero's birth, be the heir presumptive.

The announcement of their birth was made over NMR radio and television at noon, with their names being announced at that time. Despite rumors that they might choose Marathi names in honor of Jagruti Ngonidzashe, their names were of weRwizi origin.

On 10 September, 2018, he was baptized into the High Estmerish faith at the Saint Chloé's Church, as Thomas Ngonidzashe.
