The Ruvelkan Armaments ÚHP (Ruvelkan: Új Harci Puska; “New Combat Rifle”) is a Ruvelkan 5.56×45mm assault rifle developed in the 1980s as a contender for the Ruvelkan military’s assault rifle program, Project Nimbus. Based heavily on the same mechanisms of the Acrean StG 68 and utilizing the same cartridge, the ÚHP was successfully trialed between 1984 and 1985. Although deemed a reliable and well-functioning firearm, the ÚHP was not adopted as a replacement for the G66 primarily on logistical reasons; it was deemed impractical to retool from the already standard 7.62×39mm cartridge and the G88 was chosen instead.

Although the ÚHP was not universally adopted by Ruvelka, it was acquired by the Imperial Fusiliers and special forces units of the Army and Air Force. It entered limited production in 1988 and saw service in both the Imerti Conflict and the Zemplen War.
