Parenthood is a 2018 Malgravean TV series starring Rhee Chae-Yeong as Lee Soo-jin, an academic and Lee Hye-in as Kim Min-Ji.
Synopsis
Parenthood is about Lee Soo-jin, an academic that discovers that one of the students under her care (Kim Chae-Yeong) is being neglected at home and makes the decision to kidnap the child and become her mother.

Parenthood sparked an intense period of debate over the role of parenthood in Malgravean society, with the Royal Malgravean Times praising the show for bringing attention to the potential flaws around the principle of Social Solidarity and rigid social structures.
It sparked concern over the efficiency of child protection laws in Malgrave, which in light of the scandal around Amelia Lowwe had gained national traction. It was claimed that the shows success led to a review of child protective services in the country, with several changes being made.
After its release viewers started to make rumours on social media between the main character and Prime Minister Nadzieja Brzezicki and Seo Yi-kyung as they have similar academic backgrounds, with fan art and fierce arguments erupting over the different sides of the debate.
