Mochi Asher "Sunshine" Williams (born 4 April 1964) is the current Prime Minister of The Cavian State, and leader of the Green Party as well as Spokesperson of the National Assembly.
Williams attended the Royal College and worked in the Cavian Civil Service, as a Manager in the Department of Energy. At the age of 25 in 1989, Williams joined the Cavian Armed Forces, and due to his eight-year military education at the Royal College, rose through the ranks of the Army, becoming a Lieutenant Commander during the Northern Conflict and Cricetinian War. From 1993 up until his retirement in 1997 he commanded the Cavian Army F, which was stationed in Cricetinia at the time.
Williams retired from military service in 1997 to pursue a career in politics. After losing an election in 1997, Williams became Mayor of Oscar City in 2001, serving two terms until 2009.
Due to his extensive career in the Department of Energy, combined with his political career, a bi-partisan Parliament committee chose Williams to become Minister of the Department of Energy, which was approved on 6 January 2010. Williams took the seat on 8 January, and quickly became known for his government ventures into renewable energy. Because this made him unpopular with the ruling Peace Coalition, Williams was repeatedly the subject of Parliament bills to fire him from the position. However, the minority Green Party kept him in office for another term, as the Peace Coalition's voting power was not enough to remove him from the position.
On 19 July 2017, Williams resigned from the position to run for Prime Minister, under the Green Party banner. He was named as Leader of the Green Party on 14 September 2017 after winning the Green Party primaries. After the results were released on 3 December 2017, Williams was declared winner, as he won the popular vote by 200 million votes(961 million people voted in the 2017 election). The Green Party also won 168 seats, a majority in Parliament and 38 more than the opposing Peace Coalition.
