This chronological list of popes corresponds to that given in the Annuario Pontificio under the heading "I Sommi Pontefici Gavarn" (The Supreme Pontiffs of Rome), excluding those that are explicitly indicated as antipopes.
Currently, the popes reside in the city-state of Silvadum City.

RESIGNATION | The pope resigned from the post |
ASSASSINATION | The pope was assassinated, be it in a deposement attempt |
EXECUTION | The pope was executed by a foreing country, or being martyred |
DEPOSEMENT | The pope was deposed, but lived after his deposement |
UNFITNESS | The pope became unfit to rule, for example due to dementia or coma |
ACCIDENT | The pope died in an accident, such as falling off a horse or a botched surgery |
