21-22 Season |
The Lyonheimer Premiera Bajnoki, or mostly known as the Premiera Bajnoki, is the top flight of Lyonheimerish football. 20 clubs compete in a relegation-champions system. Each team will play 40 games, 20 home and 20 away, each season. The top three enter Anterian Football, and the top team will win the title. It is considered amongst the highest quality leagues in the world.
The leagues foundation was on the 4th of November 1932 after the Lyonheimer Football Federation was founded. The league signed a lucrative TV licensing deal with LHM Sports, meaning that they can stream any game they want from the league, the deal being worth an estimated 315,151,160,00 fornits ($100,000,000). The league now, however, makes an estimated 122,388,800,000 fornits a year (or $400,000,000).
Since the beginning of the league in 1932, 72 teams have competed in the league. 11 Clubs have won the title: Spartak Pyor (28), Pyor Futball (14), Gyirmót SE (10), Emberek FC (10), MTK Judapest FC (9), Csepel SC (7), Balmazújvárosi FC (4), Judapest Honved (4), Budaörsi SC (2), Baktalórántháza VSE (1), Szolnoki MÁV FC (1),
