The Republic of Ukraaaine is Ukraaainian for "two islands". It's named that because it has 2 islands within its borders. Those 2 islands make 2 states known as the state of Oddesk and Luhanson. It's capital, Cheryhorsk, is located in the state of Oddesk.
History
Flag History
The trident on the Ukraaainian flag represents the former kingdoms of Oddesk and Luhanson, and the middle line representing unity.
Divided Ukraaaine
Until 1633, Ukraaaine was split between the kingdoms of Oddesk and Luhanson. Both kingdoms shared the same language but were still very different from each other. The Kingdom of Luhanson always attacked the Kingdom of Oddesk, which would cause the kingdom of Oddesk to attack the Kingdom of Luhanson. It was like this until 1499 when the Treaty of Miayev was made, stating that both sides would cease fire. After the treay of Miayev, many diplomatic relations would be made between the 2 kingdoms until in 1633, when the 2 kingdoms signed the Act of Union was made making the kingdom of Ukraaaine.
