Detachment K, formerly known as Geheime Spezialeinheit Yamato (English: Secret Special Force Yamato), or simply known as Force K is a branch of Task Force 141 led by Colonel, later Brigadier Yamato Kitagawa. It is known for its aggressive offensive operations against the Neocon forces during the Neocon War. It is considered by the Heimdallr Council as its most elite special forces group with more than 200 active members. It primarily consisted of East Europans, Lucian, Erebonian, and Rubrumian operators.

Prior to its Neocon War formation, it was an Imperial special forces branch of the Geheimabteilung commanded by Kitagawa. The force was created in order to counter Allied task forces under the authority of the Neoconservative countries of Quenmin, Joyonghea, Concordia, Holy Trabian Empire and Bethausia. However, the true nature of the special force was that its members were mostly members of the Gneisenau Circle and disillusioned Imperial troops who were supportive of a conservative rule in East Europa. Total cooperation with the Heimdallr Council was their main objective such that they would both support in toppling the ruling Imperial government and destroying the ambitions of the neoconservatives.

In 2029, when the formation defected to Heimdallr Council following the fall of the Imperial government, its focus shifted to raiding and disrupting Neocon supply lines and chains. It works cooperatively with the Gneisenau Partisans. During the Neocon War, the group were classified as a terrorist group by the Neocons with a bounty for each of the members. However, none of the members were captured thanks in part to its Imperial special forces training and cunning in the field.
