Simy Menetesem Brasa (born November 29, 1974) is a Seketese politician and former comedian and media personality who has served as the Prime Minister of Seketan since March 29, 2021.
Born in Ellybek to a Fjeskan and Seketese bilingual family, Brasa spent adolescence in Loria before relocating to Conelibek and obtaining a degree in economics from Cjetor Mynseau University. Brasa later pursued a career in comedy and became popular in Seketan for his blue comedy and political commentary. Brasa later created and hosted Ytan-Brasa (English: "Brasa Nation"). As a media personality, Brasa promoted populist and anti-corruption sentiment, and mocked incumbent Seketese politicians. Bursa and others founded Our Revolution in early 2020.
Brasa controversially criticized Seketan's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and garnered hundreds of thousands of followers on social media platforms, primarily Instragram and Tik-Tok. He promoted same-sex marriage, drug liberalization, anti-lockdown) sentiment, COVID-19 misinformation, economic liberalization, libertarianism, and anti-establishment rhetoric.
