The company was founded as a division of the Glaucia by Titus Glaucia in 1972 to compete with established sports car brands such as Angelbridge, Eudoxius, and Phaeton. It grew rapidly during the 1980s, but suffered financially in the years leading up to the collapse of the Empire of Exponent. It was bought by Orangeblossom in 2002, marking a period where Glaucia introduced new models and greatly increased their productivity. However, it was split off as a private limited company in 2014.
