The South Amerigonnan War (14 February 2016 – 6 May 2021), also known as the Great South Amerigonnan War, was a continental military conflict that formed a theater of the FUA Crisis. It was instigated by Secadia, the Guadosalam Federation and the Righteous Revolutionary Front (FJR) against Ilari, Equatorial Amerigonna, and the Archadian Federation, and resulted in victory for the latter two nations.
The conflict originated from Ilari's secession from the Federal Union Association, which instigated suspicions from Secadia and Guadosalam. Both nations' suspicions were heightened after the Archadian Federation entered the conflict on the side of the Allies. Assuming Ilari would partake the same path given the country's cordiality towards Archadia, Guadosalam produced covert plans to invade the country through the element of surprise, even though Ilari proclaimed itself to be overall neutral in the conflict. On 14 February 2019, Guado and Secadian forces attacked the Ilarian capital of Sorata by air and blockaded Iquique by ocean. Angered by this provocation, Ilarian president Román Amengual declared war after Sorata was secured, with advocacy of Vittorio Emmanuele V. Pivotal victories at Moyobamba and a [battle in Southern Archadia] have managed to turn the tide of the conflict against Guadosalam.
The War lasted until 6 May 2021 when Ilarian and Archadian troops entered the Guado capital and enforced the latter's surrender.
