The Hunters (Faelish: Sealgairi) and the Drivers (Faelish: Tiomanaithe) are the two original political factions in Faelan, formerly representing absolutist monarchism and parliamentarism, respectively. Both eventually became modern political parties: the Hunters coalesced into the centre-right Traditionalist Party (Faelish: Gnath Comhar), while the Drivers became the centrist to centre-left Lautnist Party (Faelish: Latna Comhar). Both parties are most commonly referred to by their former names.
In the Western Parliamentary Assembly, the Hunters sit with the New West Alliance faction, while the Drivers are a member of the Western Democratic Alliance.
