George M. Orwell was the XX President of the United States who served from 183X until his assassination a year later in 183X, which was a catalyst for starting the civil war. George is described by historians today as a socialist, but back then he called himself a "New Democrat", part of a new era of young politicans seeking to reform Elisia and making it a better nation to sustain oneself in. He ran for the now-defunct Democratic Party and managed to win in 183X because the party leadership was starting to get desperate, and thought a new democrat could potentially help create unity in government and prevent a deadly war.
He is most known for being the main cause of the 10th Amendment being ratified in the 1840's which prohibited slavery in the Constitution. He had written drafts and pushed Congress constantly until his death to prohibit slavery, and gave many ways to do it. Additionally, he is also known for having the most prosecutions of companies in any presidential term in history at the time. It is said his assassination was perpetrated by the south because he was very anti-business, which was too much even for the party.
