"Here in the north" (Ostric: Tu na nordacë; Weranic: Hier im Norden) is the regional anthem of Ostry.
History
The first draft of "Here in the north" came from Ostric nationalist Kasper Olhouser, who wrote the lyrics during the [TBD]. Although the [TBD defeat], Olhouser's lyrics, set to what some historians attest as a 19th century Weranic march, became popularized in the Ostric diaspora and nationalist community as a prominent symbol of Ostry.
In 1986, with the granting of devolved powers under the Free State of Ostry, there was discussion over making the anthem official, which it finally was per the Regional Symbols Act, signed on 1 April 1986. Today, "Here in the north" is popular among sports clubs, separatist circles, and the Ostric diaspora on mainland Werania.
