The Royal Mejian Army Air Corps (Mejian: Cuerpo Aéreo Real del Ejército Mejian (CAREM) ) is one of two dedicated aviation formations of the Armed Forces of Costa Mejis. Is is an integral part of the Royal Mejian Army and is dedicated to supporting military operations of the Royal Army. The Army Air Corps is responsible for protecting the nation's airspace through the use of fighter and interceptor aircraft, as well as operating and maintaining the nation's strategic surface to air missile and radar instillations. In addition, the Army Air Corps is responsible for providing {wpl|close air support}} to Royal Army forces in contact with the enemy, interdiction and tactical strike behind enemy lines, and providing both tactical and strategic airlift for the Royal Army. These assets are also sometimes utilized to support Royal Armada missions as well to supplement the less capable Royal Mejian Naval Aviation, which is focused on maritime strike missions, maritime reconnaissance, antiship and anti-submarine warfare as well as search and rescue.
