Alexandra Gentry-Ravenna, Lady Gentilis-Ravenna, MC SFN (b. 20 August 1966) is a Latin politician and noblewoman of Ghantish origin, who has been a Senator for Portus Rasna since 2010 as a member of the Progressive Party. She has served as the Progressive Party Spokesperson for Culture, Media, and Sport since 18 June 2018.

She is the youngest child and only daughter of Victor Gentry-Ravenna, 3rd Duke of Ravenna and Princess Julia of Ghant. In 1990, she married Louis Ferdinand, Prince of Liothidia. Her marriage to Louis Ferdinand ended in 1997 with a divorce after rumors of domestic violence and a tumultuous relationship plagued by affairs. Gentilis-Ravenna has two children: Wilhem and Reinhardt.

Early life

Gentilis-Ravenna was born on 20 August 1966 at Palatium Ravennae, in Ravenna, as the youngest child and only daughter of Victor Gentry-Ravenna, 3rd Duke of Ravenna and Princess Julia of Ghant. She was educated at Lyceum Ravennae-Sancta Sophia in Ravenna for her primary and secondary schooling. In 1986, she enrolled at the University of St Ambrose-Ravenna where she studied Literature.

She is a relative of the Latin Imperial and Ghantish Imperial families by way of her great-great-grandparents, Prince Albert of Ghant and Princess Silvia of Latium.

Political career

Gentilis-Ravenna was selected as a Progressive Party list candidate for Senate ahead of the 2010 election. Since joining the Senate, she has been considered one of the more left-leaning members of the Progressive Party.

She was re-elected in 2014, and again in 2017.

On 18 June 2018, Gentilis-Ravenna joined the Progressive frontbench of Flavia Lepera as the party's Spokesperson for Culture, Media, and Sport.

Personal life

Gentilis-Ravenna attended Latin court for the first time in 1981. She served as a lady-in-waiting to her second cousin Stephania, Princess of Youth from 1988 until Stephania's death in 1991. She was introduced to her first husband, Louis Ferdinand, Prince of Liothidia in 1988 by Stephania and then Jason, Prince of Youth. Gentilis-Ravenna married Louis Ferdinand on 4 April 1990 at Basilica of St. Gregorius in Ravenna. Their marriage was considered rocky by most, with close friends claiming that "neither got along well with the other." The marriage ended in divorce on 5 October 1997 after rumors of domestic violence, infidelity and general poor relationship. Gentilis-Ravenna has three children from the marriage: Beatrice, Wilhem and Reinhardt.

In 2002, she was created a life peer by Latin Emperor Jason VI Augustus, as the Lady Gentilis-Ravenna.
