The Marist Union (Brillian: Máridény Unió) is a Marist democratic political party in Brilliania. While the party holds conservative stances on issues such as gambling, euthanasia and abortion, it supplements its ideology with stances on climate change, same-sex marriage and economy which are left-of-centre. The party is a strong supporter of environmental stewardship and public expenditure, while preferring upholding traditional morality.
Founded in 1965, it has been a major party in Brilliania since its founding as a merger of two moderate Marist political parties which were founded after the Neverfading Revolution. It has formed an electoral alliance with their Alydian counterpart several times as the Interfaith Union, having been reformed in late 2019 in order to maximise religious representation after the end of the Law on Religious Governmental Co-operation, which guaranteed representation in government for a religious party from both major religions in the country.
