West Phoenicia Prohibition Party is a minor right wing party in the West Phoenician government that advocates for a more conservative, traditional and clean way of living one's life.
It is on the Cross bench and often votes alongside the Coalition. However at times they have also allied with the Opposition if they feel a Coalition bill would not be suitable for the citizens of West Phoenicia.
History
Polycarp Vestero founded the West Phoenicia Prohibition Party on August 29, 2011.
A former pastor at the New Montgomery True Path Faith Mega centre in the city-state of Antebellum Territory.
He cited the reason for the need for a new party, God had shown him that West Phoenicia was spiralling into a nation of greed, immorality, idolatry and unrepentent sin.
A new party was needed to move West Phoenicia into a positive pure direction.
Rev. Trevor Meadows took over as leader of the party in 2015 after Polycarp Vestero was called into the mission field.
Rev. Trevor Meadows has kept the same vision, organising rallies calling on people to repent. Leaders organised boycotts of bars, nightclubs, Reproductive clinics, brothels. Members of the party have been arrested for trespass and blocking people from entering premises.
The Prohibition Party had cause to celebrate in 2019 when Agrippa Dew IV won the governorship position in the city-state of Herodian Valley.
They also gave 79 seats in the House of Representatives and, a number that has grown. And is starting to gain more confidence in introducing lesgislatiin and arranging deals with other parties.
