Gabriella Pesaro (born 1st of May, 1947) was a member of the Pakosc Student Division and leader of one of the best performing units in the battle. In 1967 she single-handedly recaptured Pakosc Trade Union Headquarters from enemy hands but eventually succumbed to her wounds. The Pesaro Medal, the highest military award in the country is named in her honour and she is commonly regarded as one of the nation's bravest citizen.
