Anikatia-Estovnia Relations (Anikatian: 안니카탸-에스토브니아 관계 ; annikatya-eseutobeunia gwangye) also sometimes known as Esto–Anikatian relations, refers to the interstate relations between Anikatia (with its various governments through history) and Estovnia. It is a continuation of DSRA-Estovnian relations covering 1951-2001. After the collapse of the DSRA, Anikatia inherited the close relationship with Estovnia, even as it shifted it improved its relations with the RCO after the end of the Cold War.
Historically the Estovnia was one of the Anikatia's (then the DSRA) strongest and most capable allies. They have enjoyed a strong strategic, military, economic and diplomatic relationship. During the Cold War Estovnia was a key and principal ally to the newly established DSRA and it provided large-scale economic and military cooperation most notably towards Anikatia becoming a nuclear power.
The two countries were among the largest trading partners under the Otterup Pact alliance, until the DSRA collapsed in 2001, leaving Estovnia one of few remaining socialist states. Although military cooperation between Anikatia and Estovnia has fallen off since the end of the Cold War. The two countries signed a number of security and leasing agreements that allowed each nation to maintain a presence within the respective countries. Military and security ties remain strong despite the ascension of Estovnia into the military and trade alliance of the RCO. The two nations still share extensive treaties over bilateral trade, as well as military intelligence sharing.
