One change that was discussed for a long time is a change to the Ii/Îî, Jj/Ĵĵ, Yy/Ŷŷ taking advantage of dots above the miniscules, creating new sets:

• İi - Change to Ii (both Govoric and Latin), representing close front unrounded vowel (/i/)
• J̇j - Change to Йй / Ĵĵ, representing voiced palatal approximant (/j/)
• Iı - Change to Ии / Îî, representing near-close near-front unrounded vowel (/ɪ/)
• Jȷ - Change to Ьь / Jj, representing palatalization (/◌ʲ/)
• Үү - Change to Yy / Ыы, representing close central unrounded vowel (/ɨ/)
• Уу - Change to Ŷŷ / Ы̆ы̆, representing voiced palatal fricative (/ʝ/)
