Operation Chromite (3 February - 28 February 1943) were a series of Allied commando raids throughout the areas around the vicinity of Lake Scaramuccia, the largest lake in South Amerigonna. The operation was to be the largest commando operation to be carried out during the Sixth Zacaya War.
The raids on the areas around the Lake were due to the following reports of the Archadian partisans:
- Establishment of Hidden lab where Imperial scientists gather to further accelerate the creation of an atomic bomb.
- Installation of Imperial/Quenminese outposts and bases as a starting point of their presence to help Archadian/Guadonian war effort
- A Fort in which a combined Imperial force was brewing in order to support a landbourne invasion of Concordia.
The reports were deemed unacceptable to Allied High Command, hence it was decided that these were to be put to an end.
