The Euclean Community will hold its 4th presidential election to elect the President of the Euclean Community in two rounds - the first on between the 7th to the 10th October and the second on the 4th to the 7th November 2022 if no candidate wins the necessary 387 seats in the electoral college in the first round.

Electoral system

The Euclean President is elected in an indirect election with an electoral college of 526 members. Each member of the Euclean Community sends a slate of electors to vote for the president with the number of electors being determined by the population of each member state. The electors are decided through the popular vote, with voters in each member state voting for a preferred candidate. Electors are split on the candidates they vote for in proportion to their popular vote percentage. If no candidate in the first round wins 387 votes in the electoral college a second round is organised among the two candidates with the most electors.

The electoral voters are distributed as such -
