Jivana is a 2022 adventure-drama film directed by Dhan Bamrel and written by Prajit Devkota, Samir Poddar and Dhan Bamrel. Based on Amira Gauchan's 2009 novel of the same name, it stars Kishore Prasai, Shekhar Khadka and Sjieuwke Walstra. The storyline involves two survivors of a shipwreck, one a 17-year-old Mahanan boy named Hitesh and the other a Koto tiger named Padsy that are stuck on a lifeboat in the middle of the Oriental Ocean. Filming was split between Kotowari, Orioni, the Sunset Sea Islands and Radnor.
